Ryan Manning 1317 Boren Avenue, Apt. 401, Seattle, WA 98101 206/262.9635 - longhare@gmail.com To Whom It May Concern, I’d like to thank you in advance for looking at this resumé. I realize your time is valuable, and that my skill sets and experience are lengthy, so I will summarize: I’ve been doing graphic design for over ten years now and have been fortunate to work in a wide variety of disciplines in that time. Over the course of my career thus far, I have had the opportunity to create logos, magazine layouts, brochures, flyers, posters, business cards, forms, clothing, indoor and outdoor displays, environmental signage, medals and most recently, websites, but I’m pretty sure I’m forgetting a few things. During most of that time, I have found myself in very small teams that required my involvement in a number of areas not traditionally considered in a graphic design education, such as scheduling, logistics, hardware troubleshooting and upgrades, pricing comparisons, budgeting, archival and documentation, just to name a few. Fortunately I consider myself a “big picture” sort of guy, and perceive great value in understanding the whole process, so I take great interest in processes that are effected by my involvement. What this means is that I’m a jack-of-all-trades in graphic design. I can do it all, and likely have already. From web to print and beyond, I am either well-versed or familiar with multiple processes in these fields and I have the skills and experience to learn new aspects of these fields, as well as new fields, quickly and adeptly. As an added bonus, I’m friendly and communicative, capable of customer relations, project and team management, I have experience with a dizzying array of equipment and I’m a bit of a “do-it-yourself-er”, both by necessity and interest when it comes to the equipment I use. That’s the semi-short story, for a more complete picture of me and my work, please visit my resumé online at : http://www.longhare.com/design.php You may also email me at longhare@gmail.com if you have any further questions or wish to schedule an interview.
